   Today NSS Unit celebrated Gandhi Jayanthi. NSS volunteers cleaned school and its surroundings & school bus stop and its surroundings from 9.30 am to 1 pm.

Orientation Class

Today an orientation class was conducted to the plus1 volunteers by Sri. Hareeshkumar.P, PAC member, GHSS Chayoth. The class was very interesting and useful to the students. Videos and outdoor activities were included in the orientation class which was very interesting to the volunteers.

NSS day celebration

     As the NSS DAY (24/09/2015) was a holiday we celebrated it on 23/09/2015. Plus 2 volunteers cleaned the school surroundings and worked in the getable farm of NSS unit.
   Plus 1 volunteers took part in cultural activities.

OZONE DAY

Today NSS Unit celebrated the Ozone Day by conducting a rally and poster exhibition. Several students and teachers participated in the celebration.

04-09-2015 Teacher's Day

Teacher's Day(05/09/2015) celebrated in our school today by the NSS Unit.
On the previous day of Teacher's Day students gave presents and flowers to the teachers and received blessings from the teachers.

   Today school NSS Unit conducted a multimedia Quiz in connection with the Onam celebration. Sri. Suresh Kokkot HSST English was the quiz master and a team of 2 members from each class participated in the quiz competition.

        Today NSS volunteers cleaned the school agriculture farm under the supervision of teachers.

Independence Day

        Today school celebrated the Independence Day. There was an assembly and flag hoisting was at 9.30 am. After the ceremony NSS volunteers cleaned the school surroundings. There was cultural activities of the Plus 1 students in the school hall.

Orientation Class for NSS volunteers

  Today an orientation class was conducted by the NSS unit to the NSS applicants of plus1- 2015. The class was started with the NSS geeth. All the major points related to the aims and objectives of National Service Scheme were discussed in the class. About 160 students participated in the class.

AUGUST 6 - Hiroshima Day

      Today- Hiroshima day - NSS Unit conducted an antiwar rally. NSS volunteers, students and teachers participated in the rally.

     There was a Poster exhibition also related to Hiroshima Day.

ANTI RAGGING CLASS

•         Today NSS Unit arranged an anti ragging class at 2.00 PM In the school Hall. The second year students attended the class.
•          The class was conducted by the Hosdurg Sub Inspector Sri. Biju Lal.
